Utility employees are encouraged to seek further training and obtain licensing. Each year 50% of the employees participate in additional training opportunities to maintain certifications. In house training is also available to employees. Employees are active participants in professional organizations including holding state, regional and national offices and are encouraged to stay abreast of the latest innovations in equipment and techniques. These opportunities have fostered a proactive team approach in the division.
