Tax Form Update
Most Federal forms are now available online.
Copies of federal instructions can be found online to view or download or to request copies by mail Copies may also be requested by calling 1-800-829-3676. This change is the result of significant cuts to the IRS appropriations by Congress.
You may be able to file your taxes online for free if you earned $58,000 or less and have a current email address.
Follow the steps here: MyFreeTaxes.com/duluthMNlibrary. You will connect to the main site where you can file both state and federal taxes for free, using software from H&R Block. This link will be active until October 15, 2014.
Once you've filed your state and federal taxes, you may file for the Minnesota Property Tax refund.
Free online tax filing is made possible by a grant to Community Action Duluth.
