Tortoise & the hare

CLIMB Theatre presents "The Tortoise and the Hare"

Friday, July 8  •  10:30 am  •  West Duluth Branch Library
Friday, July 8  •  1 pm  •  Main Library Green Room

Speedy the hare keeps teasing Sal the tortoise because Sal is slower than Speedy. In the end, Sal discovers that being a winner is about much more than who crosses the finish line first. This 30-minute play will be followed by a 10-15 minute activity session.

How do athletes become Olympians? How do you become the best you can be? What word would you wish for the world? Find your word of encouragement and let it fly! Creativity Tank artists will guide you in the process of designing your own personal flag through drawing and printmaking on fabric. Simple stitching will complete your project for hanging. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration required: sign up for the West Duluth or the Main Library session.

Ross and Barton Sutter offer a range of shows that integrate Bart’s award-winning poems with Ross’s versions of great songs and tunes from the Scandinavian, Celtic, and American folk traditions.
