Learn about the basic parts of a computer, the desktop, Start menu,
and how to use a mouse to navigate a Windows computer.
No experience required - this class is for beginners.
Monday, September 26 • 6:00-7:30
Learn the basics of using the Internet including how to open a web
browser, navigate through websites and search for information using a
search engine. If you are a beginner, it is recommended you attend
the computer basics class first.
Microsoft Word 2013 Basics
Monday, October 3 • 6:00-7:30
This class is intended to teach beginners about the basics of word
processing using Microsoft Word 2013. In the class you will learn to cut
and paste, change text appearance, check documents for errors and save
work to a folder.
Email Basics - Gmail
Monday, October 10 • 6:00-7:30
Learn the basics of email including how to send and receive email messages
and how to add attachments (like photos). In this class you will be creating
your own Gmail account or using an existing account if you already have one.
