Lakewalk Mini-Master Plan

Project Status: Planning

Project Overview: Duluth's Lakewalk consists of nearly eight miles of paved pedestrian and bicycle trail stretching from Bayfront Park to Brighton Beach, much of it along the Lake Superior Shore.

Project Update: The full length of the Lakewalk from Bayfront Park through Brighton Beach will undergo a study that will look at accessibility, user conflicts, community connections, Baywalk green space, Lake Place Park, asset management, signage and wayfinding and safety. The planning process will include public engagement with a draft plan anticipated for Parks Commission and Council approval in 2019.
